A short version
I started writing code because I wanted to make things that didn't exist yet. That feeling - staring at a blank file and watching something come alive - still hasn't gotten old.
Today I help businesses ship software that's fast, reliable, and a pleasure to use. I care about the boring parts (database indices, type safety, error boundaries) because they're what makes the exciting parts possible.
